Here is my statement of intent for my magazine, which outlines some of the main details of my magazine plan. It may change as my ideas develop, but this is my starting point.

Having my ideas set out in detail from the beginning has really helped me to stay on track and keep my magazine within the genre and intended target audience, alongside guaranteeing that I know where I want my magazine to go. There are many times where I took an incorrect turn, in such that I planned to include an article for my fashion magazine that addresses music. Even though fashion and music have always had strong cultural ties and have greatly influenced and informed one another, I realized after reaching out with my statement of intent that this would not be suitable for my particular genre because it would require me to add additional information, which would make it more complicated. For that reason, I decided to remove that information.
